Just Logging Life

Hey It’s Me!

Now onto my favorite human in the entire world. My grandma is my biggest role model. She has been around me my entire life and I can’t see myself without her. She has the biggest heart and the funniest sense of humor. She THE most Irish person I have ever met and I love listening to her favorite Irish songs with her. Grandma Magee is an idol in the Saybrook community. Everyone knows her, loves her and cares for her. She comes to every single one of my soccer games and went to every single water polo match, swim meet, volleyball game, basketball game, and wrestling match that my brother and I have ever had. I look up to her and she is the type of grandma I want to be when I am older.

My favorite place that I have ever been to is, California. I am blessed that I have family there and am able to go visit them almost twice a year. The amount of things to do there is insane. My Aunt lives in Los Angeles and she names new restaurants and fun things to do every time we are there. The vibes in California and the laid back way of life is so amusing and I really want to live there when I am older. And on top of that, it is BEAUTIFUL.

I am a soccer-loving girl that has played for almost her entire life. From ages 4 to 17 I have been kicking a soccer ball. From playing park district to Galaxy Soccer club to high school varsity soccer, I can’t imagine my life without it. For this entire journey, I have been playing with my best friends, Leah and Paige.

I also am very into fashion. At home, I sew old clothes into new ones. I took one of my mom’s old skirts and made it into a trendy one I still wear. I took fashion design during my freshman year and I absolutely loved it. I made another skirt and a handbag in that class. I’ve always loved to sew and make useful things to use in my everyday life. I made a huge pillow for a couch but now my puppy’s new bed.

As much as I love fashion, it isn’t my true passion. The environment and how its changing has always interested me. My mom works as an environmental specialist. So of course, it has been embedded into my brain to reduce, reuse, and recycle. This really has become a huge part of my life and I am striving to turn it into a career. My top colleges of choice right now is Michigan state university.
