Fast Food Top 5 Power Rankings

Fast Food Top 5 Power Rankings

Fast Food is so common especially among people my age. The quickness in which it is typically made and the tasty flavors it can provide make it such a good deal. Really good food, really fast. Normally at a reasonable price. Today I am going to give my Power rankings for fast food. Let me reiterate these are power rankings and these are a personal opinion based off of what I think.

  1. Five Guys (https://www.fiveguys.com/ )

Starting off our list at number 5 we have Five Guys. Now Five Guys is a super quality restaurant that recently has been super high quality and out here a lot of me and my friends have been going to Five Guys. Their burgers are just better quality than places like McDonalds and Wendys. However they have

just more options than most places with quality burgers. Five Guys does hotdogs very very well and are known for having some of the best fries in all of fast food. So when you put all of those things together it’s not very surprising that Five Guys makes the top 5, but why not higher? There is one simple answer for that PRICING. Five Guys is so expensive that you can go find a comparable burger for a lower price. NOT A BETTER BURGER, but you can find a more reasonably priced one. That’s why it is number 5 on my list.

Go-to Order: Bacon Cheeseburger w/ Fries and Lemonade

  1. Panda Express (https://www.pandaexpress.com/ )

Panda Express comes in at number 4 on my list. It has a complete monopoly over the Chinese fast food realm. They truly do not have any competition and I don’t think they will ever have competition because they play their role as a chine

se fast food chain so well. Their food isn’t as good as your normal chinese restaurant. However, being able to grab Chinese food efficiently without having to put in an order makes it good enough to come in at Number 4 on my list.

Go-to Order: Double Entree (Orange Chicken and Beijing Beef w/ noodles)

  1. Raising Canes (https://www.raisingcanes.com/ )

Raising Canes used to be in my opinion the MOST OVERRATED RESTAURANT. However I eventually came around to the chicken tender spot. Their chicken is very good, which is kinda what you would expect from a place that only sells chicken tenders and sides. However, what makes them elite is their Texas Toast and Canes Sauce. Those two things along with Canes chicken are in my

opinion all the best in the fast food world at what they do. They are in my opinion overpriced but because they are in my opinion some of the best chicken tenders you can find, it’s good enough for Number 3 on my list.

Go-to Order: Caniac Combo (Swap Coleslaw for extra bread)

  1. Chipotle (https://www.chipotle.com/ )

Some of the freshest fast food you can go grab. Chipotle is so high quality tasting and a decently healthy option which gives it some bonus points. It also has a form of domination over fast food mexican. Yes there is Taco Bell, however chipotle is so far ahead of taco bell that it doesn’t really matter. Like does taco bell even put toppings on their food, I do not know and honestly I can care less because chipotle is going to beat them everyday of the week. Chipotle could’ve been number one but I have met a couple of people who don’t like chipotle and the spot at number one I think everyone in America likes.

Go-to Order: Steak Bowl.

Honorable Mentions:

McDonalds – A classic fast food place everyone knows. McDonalds is just very basic.

Jimmy Johns- Best Fast food Deli Sandwich. However, we are talking about sandwiches.

Dominos- Best fast food pizza. But what makes it faster than regular pizza outside of price

The #1 SPOT GOES TO: Chick-Fil-A (https://www.chick-fil-a.com/ )

MY PLEASURE. DO I NEED TO SAY MORE? I think not chickfila is number one on my list.

Go-to order: Spicy Chicken Meal.

  1. I appreciate how you wrote your blog post about a very relatable topic to anyone who eats fast food including me. I’m confused on in what aspect you said fast food is really good because obviously disregarding its health it’s a good deal but regarding it it’s not. Again I like how you started off with Five Guys which is a fast food place that’s relatively well known here including me even though I’ve only eaten there once. However, it’s enough for me to completely agree that while it is better quality, it is overpriced. I’ve also went to Panda Express and I’ve never realized that it has a complete monopoly on Chinese fast food and that also makes me realize that no other fast food place really has a monopoly on any other ethnicity’s food. I’ve never had Raising Canes but I’ve heard that it’s so good that there’s always a long line so I can see why you said it’s the most overrated but it has to be for a reason so it checks out that their chicken actually is very good. I’ve also only had Chipotle once but I can definitely see how it’s very healthy however I’m not a fan. I like how you included honorable mentions and I agree with what you said about them. I also agree that Chick-Fil-A is at least a very good fast food place but I would like to see some of your reasoning why.

  2. I really liked reading your post Luke! I love all these fast food restaurants and I frequently go to them. Though these are all fast food restaurants, they are very different at the same time. I enjoy a good cheese burger from five guys, especially when there is fries and a lemonade on the side. I would rank this above panda express though. I love Panda Express, but recently they are taking the “fast” out of fast food because it takes so long and I feel like I am waiting in line forever. My go-to order here is a plate with orange chicken and chow mein. I would agree that Canes is number 3 because it is so good. Although I would rather go to other places for chicken tenders, their toast, sauce, and lemonade are amazing. I never considered chipotle as fast food, but I guess it falls under this category. Whenever I think about fast food I think fried food. Chipotle is definitely one of my higher ranked favorite places to eat because it is healthy and good to eat. I agree with you about Chick-fil-a as being the best fast food restaurant because it has the best chicken nuggets, sauce, fries, and lemonade. Great blog post!

  3. Hi Luke. I loved how you ranked these fast food places. All of the places that you mentioned are ones I frequent often and also have strong opinions on. Personally, I would have to put Chipotle over Chick-fil-A, but everything else I would strongly agree with! I loved that you also included some honorable mentions, all strong choices as well. My favorite part about your post was that you shared what your order is from each of the restaurants. That’s a great idea! I think it’s awesome that you wrote on a topic that is very relatable to anyone reading your blog. Who doesn’t love fast food?

  4. Luke,

I think this is a top tier food ranking because we have pretty similar food tastes. I agree that Five Guys is pretty expensive, and I think it’s also on the greasier side of the fast food chains. I had their fries, and they got a bit soggy which I personally don’t love that much, which is why I agree with your fifth place ranking. For fourth, I absolutely love Panda Express. My mom always talks about how Panda Express is ‘unauthentic Chinese food’ and it definitely is but they make it taste so good that it just overrides that. I used to love their black pepper chicken, but they discontinued it, so now my Panda Express has never really been the same. For Canes, there was not one thing you said that I disagreed with. Their toast is so good, but it’s also a bit far. I really like Chicken Lit, which is really close to North. Their toast is subpar compared to Canes, but their chicken is really good and they offer a wide variety of sauces. It looks a little sketchy because I’m pretty it’s next to a vape shop but you should try it. I also love Nicky’s Red Hots, which is an extremely underrated fast food place that is very close to North, so you can go off campus during lunch. I love their gyros (I actually had it yesterday) and it made me so unbelievably happy, so you should definitely try it!
