I don’t know about you guys, but lately I’ve been feeling bored out of my mind. Struggling to find ways to entertain myself, I keep going back to sleep. About two weeks ago, I really felt the hit of feeling bored with nothing to do to the point where I began exercising to entertain myself. And guess what! It actually felt kind of good (it shames me to say that). So for all of y’all feeling bored like I do, I compiled a list of activities you can do while you are living your quaranteenage life
Make food:
While going on a grocery shopping trip to Target the other day, I was appalled at how little food there was available. Fortunately for me, the candy aisle was basically stocked. I bought a pack of Haribo gummy bears and a pack of Nerds so I can make nerd ropes. I am planning on making M&M cookies later in the week. Some more sustainable meals I made include shrimp carbonara, shrimp spring rolls, stuffed peppers, chocolate strawberries, banana ice cream, and spaghetti and meatballs.


Other edible things you can make include banana bread, three ingredient peanut butter cookies (highly recommend), and baked mac and cheese. My friend Stephanie is a beast at baking. Follow her @stepani_bakes on Instagram for more inspiration. Be careful though, making food can be dangerous. At times of boredom like now, many of us eat food to entertain and we can easily go over limits. Trust me, I know.
Shoot your shot:
You might as well shoot your shot now. I mean, what is the person going to do? Come and see you? Plus, you never know what will happen out of it. I mean, I shot my shot with a guy a couple weeks ago. Becky helped me give him my number and later that day he hit me up. But, he stopped responding to my snaps so there’s that. So if I can shoot my shot and somewhat make it, who is to say that you can’t do the same? Do it, I urge you.
Exercise:
Ugh, it pains me so much to say this, but exercising is lowkey entertaining. I’ve been following these exercise youtube videos. Hey, why not use your time to get a glow up? Or get that summer body you’ve been craving? Imagine if we actually go back to school and you get a massive glow up that no one was expecting! Personally, my glow up is looking more like a glow down right now as I am eating way too much junk food and my skin is breaking out. I’m still working on that. Here are one workout video I like to follow to keep me motivated!
Create new Spotify playlists:

Recently I’ve been discovering some new artists and new songs that I really liked, which reminded me of how old and outdated some of my playlists were. Therefore, I decided to go through my playlists, delete some songs that didn’t belong there anymore, add new songs, and create a few more new playlists to vibe to! With your new Spotify playlists, you can dance your heart out on the streets!
