Hello everybody! It’s Ithan DeLorenzo. I go to Naperville North High School and I’m a junior. This year I’m playing hockey for North and Sabres. For the past two years I played for Team Illinois. This was an elite level team, but I decided that I didn’t want a career in hockey so I decided to quit the team. I really think that both the Sabres and Naperville North could be state champions at the end of the season. We have really good forwards, defense, and solid goaltending. Both of the teams have a really solid roster and everyone can improve to make the team even stronger.
I have 3 pets. I have 2 dogs and a cat. The dogs’ names are Fleury and Stanley and the Cat’s name is Sky. We got my husky, Fleury in Indiana 3 years ago and my other dog, Stanley at the Dog Patch a few months ago. In my family there are 5 people. My mom, dad, two little brothers, and myself. Casey, one of my little brothers, plays baseball and is a freshman at North. My other little brother, Blake, is 9 and is in 4th grade at Ellsworth.
Some things that I’m interested in is the NFL, NHL, and videogames. My favorite NFL team is the Philadelphia Eagles and my favorite NHL team is the Pittsburgh Penguins. I like playing NBA2k on Xbox One with my friends. I used to play Fortnite, but it kind of died off. While I watch the NHL, NFL, or playing Xbox, I usually am eating my favorite food, either Chik-fil-a or Chipotle. At Chik-fil-a I usually get the Chicken Sandwich and a small waffle fry. At Chipotle I get a bowl with chicken, beans, rice, cheese and lettuce.
I haven’t decided what to do as a career because I have so many interests, but I’m not 100% sure if I want to do any of those things for the rest of my life. I’m interested in Sports Management, Vetenarian, Technology, and Law. I also haven’t decided what school I want to go to but I really like the University of Michigan, UCLA, Duke, Michigan State University, and I haven’t looked into any other school yet. I’m going to visit Duke, UNC, University of Indiana, and some other schools within the next few months. I really want to get into University of Michigan, but I haven’t really found the school that I’m in love with yet.
Some things that I hate are people walking in the hallways slow, when people are on their phones while they drive, and the heat. I hate when people walk in the hallways slow because when I’m going somewhere I like to get there fast and I like to keep moving and not stop abruptly. I hate when people drive on their phones because it makes me nervous to drive by them because they are swerving all over the road. I don’t like the heat because I get very hot and I start sweating and I get so uncomfortable. I much rather to be in the cold than the heat.
