I am also borned here but raised in Mexico for a long time, and my first language is also spanish
I probably wouldn’t have written a blog either if I wasn’t forced into it. I also enjoy fine arts but I enjoy the orchestra side of fine arts. Like you, fine arts has been a big part of my life but probably not as big as yours. When I was younger, I was also terrible at speaking English and mostly only spoke Chinese since that was the language my family spoke at home. I also have an older brother and sister who both went to Naperville North. Though I probably wouldn’t throw my siblings if they ever made me mad.
I really liked this post because of how personal you got about some of your favorite hobbies, sports, and then your family. It interested me when you talked about wrestling being the toughest sport, because I have heard the argument many times and It seems really tough to be a wrestler. It is also cool to see that you are into music and sports, which is something I feel like we don’t see enough of today. You are passionate about in what you like to do, not based on what is popular or what other people want you to be.
That’s so cool that you lift weights, I have just started lifting too! I have just picked up a membership at avolve fitness, and started a program called “boring but big”. One place where is struggle, is eating enough. I also think that its awesome that you were raised in mexico. I took Spanish 7th, 8th, and freshman year, but got lost and couldn’t keep up. I also tried wrestling in 8th grade and had a great time, what a fun sport!! Wrestling is defensively and under appreciated sport, and demands so much from the body, I have great respect for anyone who does it!
so because I have to write 100 words for this I will ask a bunch of questions that you can answer or not. Since you said you love weight lifting what is your favorite muscle to work out and what exercise do you enjoy to do the most. what lifting do you prefer, machine or free weight? If you think you needed to get stronger in an area of the body what area do you think you would need to work on the most in comparison to other workouts. Do you use barbells and if so then what are your max for benchpress, squat, strict press, and or deadlift.
