About Me Page

            The facts are I’m an 18-year-old female with blonde hair and blue eyes living in Naperville, Illinois. This describes me the way a driver’s license would, factual and impersonal. While I believe this is a good way to start talking about myself I plan to go a bit farther into who I actually am. Activities that I look forward to making up a big part of me. I enjoy driving, listening to music, creating art, and playing the piano.

            I got my driver’s license a little over two years ago and ever since then, I have always enjoyed driving. Especially when I have no destination and can play my own music. There are a few times when I am not listening to music, I listen to music while working and driving which takes up a decent amount of my time. I am also really into art. I’ve always been into photography but the art class I’m currently taking has introduced me to much more than photography. Up to that point, my art classes were all photography classes but AP studio focuses on different types of art including sketching, collages, and varies forms of documenting. I think music is a form of art. I have been playing piano since first grade when I started taking weekly lessons. At this point in my life, I no longer take lessons and instead play songs I want to and at my own pace. I’m weird in the sense that I don’t play in front of other people. I wait till I have the house to myself and use that time to practice. I’ve gotten many complaints about not playing for other people but I enjoy just playing for myself without the pressure of knowing people are listening.

Most of my free time is spent with my friends because moments with friends are my favorite memories. We like to go on mini road trips to places only a state over. I am commonly in charge of the music when we drive around because I like almost all types of music and have an insane amount of playlists made for anything someone might want to listen to. So I guess you could say I’m a pretty essential part of any road trip.
