According to Statista, 225 million people in the United States of America have a driver’s license, that means 69% of Americans can legally drive a car. Also according to Photos State, 95% of American households own at least one car. So the question is what’s the best car to own? There are thousands of answers to this straightforward question. Obviously the answer would depend on the buyer’s budget, where they live, how many people need to fit in the car, and also what it will be used for.
My answer to this question covers all of these needs exceptionally well, but what is it? Is it a truck? Is it a van? No. It is a station wagon. Why a station wagon? Any family can afford a station wagon, you can find some for around one thousand dollars, or even upwards of one hundred thousand dollars. Also the station wagon provides a ton of space for children or friends. Like a typical sedan, there are usually only two rows of seating, however there are several examples with a third facing the rear of the vehicle like in the 1999 Mercedes E320 Wagon. Wagons are also very capable vehicles in the winter and on dirt roads, this is because the majority of wagons have All Wheel Drive. No, wagons do not have the same amount of storage capacity as pickup trucks, but they will have the same if not more storage capacity than the average SUV.
Assuming money is no object, what are the four best cars you can get that will accomplish any need? My four cars would be: An Audi RS6 Avant, a diesel pickup truck, a 1967 Mustang GT Fastback and a Mercedes Maybach.
The Audi RS6 Avant is a 600 horsepower station wagon. I chose the Audi RS6 Avant because it is a station wagon that can also go from 0-60 mph in less than four seconds. I also chose this car because it could be driven everyday.
I chose a Diesel pickup truck because it is important to have a vehicle that can haul anything. It is also a good choice because it has a ton of storage and it will also last forever. It is common for diesel pick up trucks to last upwards of four hundred thousand miles.
I chose a 1967 Ford Mustang GT Fastback because it is a beautiful car that is fun to drive. In my opinion it is important to have a car that you enjoy driving. The old Mustang in not a logical car to buy, but it is the perfect car to drive on the weekends if you want to have a smile from ear to ear.
Finally the Mercedes Maybach. I chose this car because it is extremely luxurious, nothing compares to this car. There are so many creature comforts within the car, it would take an hour to list each one off. Unfortunately this car can be as expensive as eight million dollars. This car is on my list because why not? With an unlimited budget why not get one of the most luxurious cars on the planet?
Many people look at cars as just a way of getting from place to place, but cars are way more than that. It is important to know what kind of car best suits your lifestyle before making a purchase.
