Ode to the Great Goose

Sonnet meticulously written by David Krawczyk

Edit: made it a Shakespearean sonnet.

Ode to the Great Goose

My lofty goose, you beckon my hand write.

Methinks how you will migrate, soar and fly,

Nesting in my mindday and through the night,

Silent, I dream about the long-necked, aye.

Shall I weigh thee to deflated balloons?

You are far more lasting and satisfied.

We wait your settle for next joyous June,

Then summer shall have its majestic guide.

How do I love you? I will list the part.

I love your beautiful beak, honk and wings.

Thought of your endowed honk fills my warm heart.

My love of returns is for all the springs.

Now I watch you go with a heart stone cold,

My joyous companions as I grow old .
