Courage takes a while to build, and comes a little bit at a time. Tim O’Brien defines courage as inheritance, and by being frugal and stashing it away…the account must be drawn down. He defines it this way because he is a solider, and they do a lot of skilled, risky and dangerous things that a lot of people wouldn’t do. Not everything includes courage, and when they need courage they have it. I would define courage as having strength in myself to do something challenging. An example would be standing up for my self when people are mean to me.
