I had a great time writing my last blog because my dreams are kinda funky. So I figured I might as well continue on and add a few more of my dream stories. These ones are not as intricate as the last ones, but I thought I should share them anyway because I really have no idea where they come from. Anyways, let’s begin!

Polar Bears

I had this one a while ago, and it wasn’t repetitive or anything but it did scare the crap out of me when I was having the dream, so it’s kind of noteworthy. The scene opens on me, sitting in the middle of a very big circle, on ice. I realize then that I am in Antarctica, and the whole ground and sky are white. I’m just kind of chilling, and then I look out at the circle I’m sitting in and the entire perimeter is made up of polar bears. But not like regular polar bears, they are the polar bears that are the logo for coca-cola.

But they aren’t cartoons like the actual coca-cola bear logo, they are legit polar bears with fur and everything.

And they are wearing red and green sweaters. With matching stocking caps. They are all wearing the exact same thing, and all just looking in at me. I then look down and notice that I too am wearing a sweater and stocking cap, but it’s opposite from theirs. So mine is green and red instead of red and green.

I then just kind of sit there for a while, and then decide to get up and leave. Once I stand up and walk out of the circle, all of these Christmas-looking polar bears just charge at me, so I’m running on the ice trying not to get mauled by these bears, when I wake up. I’m sure this is probably some kind of aftermath of watching a coca-cola commercial right before bed or something, but it’s pretty scary to experience an entire group of bears running at you. Would not recommend.

School

I’m sure everyone has had this kind of dream. In the month leading up to the start of school and even into the school year last semester, I had nightmares very consistently about all the different things that could go wrong on my first day back at school. But one out of all of these stuck out, and that is because I wasn’t even at North. It was some random building that was apparently my school, but I didn’t recognize it at all and had never been in there before. My first mistake was that I woke up around 10 am. I had slept in accidentally, so I had to rush and get ready for school as quickly as possible. I had missed most of the morning so I decided to just try and find my next class. It happened to be English, so I tried to go upstairs to my class, but by the time I got to the second floor my English class was over. I decided I should at least find the class and talk to my teacher, but suddenly everything was switched around and I went down a wrong hallway and couldn’t find my class. I then realized that my class was back where I had come from so I retraced my steps, but it wasn’t there either. By the time I gave up looking, the next period had already ended. Much of the day went on like that. Near the middle of the afternoon, I ended up sitting in a stairwell in a corner of the school.

I was so lost and turned around I had just given up and sat down. A professor then ran up the stairs so I asked him to help me find my class but he simply pushed past me, saying he was late to his class. I then tried to find my math class, which never happened. Overall, it was a pretty rough first day back and I am very glad I woke up from that one and that it was not a reality.

These are just a few more of my dreams. I think it’s probably better when I don’t remember my dreams because honestly, I would rather not relive some of these experiences in my mind.

  1. Your dream about school genuinely terrifies me. Oftentimes, when I’m stressed, I find myself dreaming about getting lost somewhere. On a happier note, your dream about polar bears, although terrifying, is pretty silly. I always had nightmares as a kid about things I had seen on TV! Do you tend to remember any positive dreams?

  2. Allison, I don’t know how you can remember your dreams because I honestly can’t. I gotta say, it was funny to read about your dreams! The school one sounds absolutely terrifying, normally when I have bad dreams I wake up like right away, but they don’t happen very often which is good. I usually get bad dreams when I’m sick, but good thing I have my handy dandy dream catcher to help! I hope that you get some more happier dreams!!
