The Chiefs beat the Titans by a score of 35-24

Honestly I think this game showed the world that Patrick Mahomes is the second best quarterback in NFL history behind Aaron Rodgers. The reason why I say this is because he has a clutch gene where he is able to make plays out of nothing. There was a play on the thirty yard-line, where no wide-receivers were open, so he rolled out to his left and

scrambled for a thirty yard touchdown. Another thing that impresses me about the man is that he is able to make any throw. He has amazing arm-strength, can throw the football at any angle, and also fit the ball into tight windows, which is a necessary trait in the NFL. Patrick Mahomes also does not rely on his talent alone, and his preparation is unmatched. He does all the work in the film room, so he knows where to go with the football. He also has all the weapons at receiver with Hill, Hardman, Watkins and Kelce, with arguably the best receiving core in the league, it is hard not to find an open receiver in Andy Reid’s scheme. 

The Chiefs defense completely changed from week 1 of the NFL season until now. They have a great defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo, and all of the players have bought into his system and it is now paying dividends for the franchise. This was proven by them slowing down Derrick Henry. 

Packers vs 49ers

The 49ers beat the Packers 37-20 

The first thing that was apparent is that the Packers defense is horrendous. I felt bad for Aaron Rodgers. Mostert had 14 carries with 164 yards IN THE FIRST HALF. The Packers were getting blown off the ball, you can infer this is you didn’t watch the game because Mostert had 226 rushing yards, with 184 of them coming before he was even touched. With that being said Jimmy G only threw the ball 8 times, so the Packers secondary did not get tested a whole lot, however their tackling technique was horrid and disgraceful to watch. Honestly I think the Packers need a shutdown corner and a nose tackle to be a serious Super Bowl caliber defense. 

On the other side of the ball the Packers struggled to protect Rodgers. He was sacked a

total of 4 times and honestly I do not think the 49ers blitzed the whole game expect twice. They didn’t need to blitz because they were getting pressure with four players. The Packers receiving core is awful (excluding Davante Adams). They could not get any separation from defensive backs. There was a play in the third quarter where Aaron Rodgers threw a beautiful pass down the seem to Jimmy Graham and it was broken up because Jimmy could not outrun a linebacker. Absolutely pathetic. They need to get better guards or make a trade for a star wide receiver that could potentially compliment Davante Adams.

I am excited to see what Jimmy G can do against the Chiefs because the Chiefs will most likely force him to beat them by throwing the football. Also it is quite obvious that this will be the best Offensive defensive match-up this year between Patrick Mahomes and the 49ers defense.
