What’s crawling around.

Nicholas Chen went on an Environmental Science trip. In Tomahawk, WA there is a bog. A sphagnum bog. That moss absorbs water like a sponge, each step emits a strong squish and swallows the foot. It really is a fitting metaphor for how my brain leaks information. Wow, how natural and contrived. This “bog” will be about anything I can dredge-up from the swampy wrinkles of my brain. Sphagum and brain are both squishy and moist, so they are essentially the same thing.
