Hi peeps!
My name is Jeremy Liu and I’m currently a high school student. A kind of stressed, a kind of overwhelmed, a kind of tired kind of student. But I’m also a successful student, a hard-working, dedicated, and driven student. But my traits don’t stop here. Now contrary to my mathbotic roots, I’d also like to think that I’m a supportive and caring individual, a friend wherever you go.
And more than that, I’m also a stick. And that’s literally not a metaphorically. Like contrary to my 5’10’’ height and my baggy clothes I wear, I’m a pure sack of skin and bones. I actually just look like a skeleton.
But looking back on this detail, that’s kind of weird. I love food and I eat a lot more than a normal human eats. I think about it, I surpass that two thousand calorie recommendations easily yet I still somehow don’t get fat. And don’t even get me started at an all you can eat buffet. Let’s just say that if you own a buffet, you better hope that I don’t show up. Because… I’m pretty much a black hole. Everything, and I mean everything, goes in me.
But I’m also a picky eater at the same time. I really don’t like cheese, dressings, or sauces and it’s strange. Like who in the world doesn’t like cheese? But don’t blame me, blame the cheese! It’s yellowy, whity, rainbowy, gooeyness just oozes “I taste horrible” and stay away on a constant basis. But don’t say that I’m a lost hope yet. I do in fact like almost any other food. Seafood? Check. Vegetables? Check. Yogurt? Check.
But don’t toss all this up to my genes. I’m just weird… and a runner (which makes me more weird). Now I love running and I run basically three hundred and sixty five days a year. I run during winter, during the summer, and through any situation or location. And I’ve literally ran through any and all situations. I’ve ran in a hundred and twenty degree weather, through negative thirty, through a thunderstorm, through a blizzard, on a boat, on an island, and basically anywhere where you’d normally not think it’d be possible to run. But I do it because I love what I’m doing. I love running with my cross country team and my track team I don’t know where I would be without them.
Running has been my catalyst to who I’ve become and you’ll see running themes that influence my writing and who I am today. But if your still interested, welcome! Welcome to the home of the weirdest, most opinionated, Asian running enthusiast you’ll see on the whole wide interwebs and I hope you’ll be staying for the long haul. I hope you have a great day and I’ll see ya soon!
