Hello everyone! And welcome to my blog. I’m Jennifer Pearson, an eighteen-year-old senior at Naperville North High School. Here’s a little more about me.

I love to spend time with my family, which consists of my mom, dad, and younger brother Ryan who is a Junior. We try to spend time with each other at least once a week, whether it is seeing a movie, going out to dinner, or playing a board game. I also have two Havanese dogs; Rocky, who is 6, and Trixie, who is 8. They are a huge part of my life. One of the best parts of my day is getting home from school to greet them. Anyway, me and my family have lived in Naperville all our lives, but a lot of my other relatives live in California which gives us an excuse to visit each year. After my brother and I graduate from college my family hopes to move there.

In my free time I like to do gymnastics, dance, paint, and watch TV. I’m also an avid nature lover and my family loves to go on hikes, which is one of many reasons that summer is my favorite season. Back to my other hobbies, I’ve been in gymnastics ever since I was a kid and am currently going on my 6th competition season at a club! I’ve made some of my closest friendships in the sport and hope to continue it until the end of this summer.

As for college, I haven’t made a final decision on where I will be attending, but most likely I will go to either UIUC or Purdue for computer science. I don’t want to think too far ahead though; for now, I’m simply looking forward to a great rest of 2nd semester.
