I am a senior entering my second semester at Naperville North High School, and I’m here to share my thoughts on school, things I find interesting, and perspectives from my own life.

To start, I just want to clear some misconceptions. I am undoubtedly a perfectionist, and I have been told that I can be rather intimidating. The truth is though, I’m just a curious student who loves challenges.

I am involved in many STEM and physical activities. I participate in Huskie Robotics, math team, track, and Kung fu. I especially enjoy computer programming because of the simultaneous logic and creativity that is needed to write code.

The most exciting time of my life has hands-down been the week I spent at West Point this past summer. I was beyond impressed with the leadership and discipline all the students and staff there had. I had a tough but amazing time doing daily exercises and barely staying awake during lectures, but it was a fantastic experience — hooah!

As I mentioned, I am also an infinitely curious person, falling into black holes of TED Talks and YouTube documentaries. I enjoy reading the news, learning about scientific theory, and exploring the world of art and design.

As much of a STEM person as I claim to be, my favorite class in school right now is actually hands-down Art History (probably a blog post about that soon). I enjoy studying art and literature in general. As much as I complain about the useless busywork that comes out of high school, I can’t help but be fully engrossed in the.

Other side interests I have taken up are photography and learning Irish Gaelic.

Even though I’ll be extremely busy these next few months, I’ll definitely take the time on this blog to give you a clearer picture of my experiences, what I enjoy, and who I am.
