Hello! Welcome to my About Me page which I definitely did not write at 11:00 PM the night before the first blog was due. Before you ask me, no I do not know what the weather is like today nor can I play music off-hand. Hahahahah. Sorry to disappoint but I’m not as knowledgeable as your in-home bluetooth device.
However, I would say I am knowledgeable about certain things… like how to watch The Office and do math homework at the same time, or what best angles to respond to snapchat streaks (strictly forehead), or even how best to convince my strict Indian mother to let me go to airband practice three times a week instead of preparing for college interviews. Basically, the different skills I have picked up through three and a half years of high school that will definitely last me a lifetime. I hope I can impart my wisdom on these aspects of my life and more through my blogs, however, let me first tell you a bit about who I am in order to establish my credibility as a writer (ethos).
Besides driving my sophomore sister all around Naperville to swim practice, I spend my time in a variety of different clubs and activities. I have run cross-country and track all four years, meeting incredible people, learning the importance of hard work and dedication, and gaining confidence as a leader and captain for my team. I also have met amazing people through volunteering through NHS, Red Cross Club, and especially the Alive Center, a teen center right by NNHS that has tons of different programs and events for the community (definitely check it out!). Now, let me stop before I start sounding too much like the Common App activities section.

A Recent Picture of My Doggos (Darcy is the one excited for the walk, and Cooper is the one mentally preparing for it, shunning me for dragging him along)
Through all of these activities and more, I, like every other senior in AP Lit, am very busy, and don’t have much free time. However, when I get the chance, I love spending time with my friends and my two dogs, I like to knit and attempt to draw, and I try my best to carve out the time to read new books. As of now, most of my free time is eaten away by airband rehearsal, prom dress shopping, and pretty soon trying to get my target in assassins. I really enjoy all of these senior traditions and I am excited for the rest of senior year, even the bittersweet ending that I am definitely not ready for yet.
Well, this was very long, and I am hoping you were not too bored and able to get a sense of who I am. I really enjoyed the opportunity to write about myself in a casual way and not being stressed out about strangers working for college admissions scrutinizing my grammar.
AnYwAyS, welcome to my blog, and I wish you all the best in the world and I hope you all are having a fantastic day.
